Cut

Remove a number of cards from the bottom of the deck and place them on the top. This acts as an extra shuffle for security.

In Casino Stud Poker and Blackjack the dealer asks one of the players to take a coloured plastic card (the 'cut card') to divide a newly shuffled deck(s) so that the dealer can take the top pack and place it on the bottom prior to dealing.
